Kenny G Front F Prototype
There is a lot of work that goes into designing a key for the saxophone. This is the prototype design I did for the Kenny G Tenor Front F or Altissimo key. It is designed so the saxophone player does not need to have the first finger of the left hand leave it’s position to open the Front F key. It can just be slid into and the first finger does not need to leave the B key to go to the altissimo..

This is my friend Zoe at a fundraiser for the homeless children of Beijing…  now the interesting thing about this Kenny G soprano I donated for the fundraiser is: I sent it back to the US for Kenny to sign and the Chinese government charged me $100USD to bring it back to China so I could donate it for the fundraiser……
